Monday 27th March 2023
Well we arrived safe and sound and the sun has been shining all day long. We walked along the promenade in Blackpool taking in the sights, ate our lunch on the beach, before collecting shells and writing our names in the sand. We then went to do our weeks food shopping before checking into the cottage. We unpacked our belongings and had a relaxing drink on the balcony outside, before it was time for the hot tub where we had two very excited children. Time for tea where we had pasta bolognaise. We had two very tired children who were both in bed and asleep by 7.00pm.
Tuesday 28th March 2023
Today we woke up at 7am and it was a little cold and rainy but we went for a walk in Lytham St.Anne's enjoying a hot chocolate in the cafe overlooking the beach and the sea. We have made some delicious cup cakes all nicely decorated ready for our friends arriving tomorrow. We have been for a walk along the woods during a dry spell looking at the animals. We have played plenty of board games, blown super bubbles and drawn some lovely artwork about our week so far and lots more it has been a very busy day. We enjoyed home made cheese and onion pie with crunchy salad for tea. Another tiring day had by all and in bed for 6.45pm.
Wednesday 29th March 2023
We had an early start this morning and were in the hot tub by 7.00am. We went to Fleetwood and had a lovely walk around a beautiful lake and garden marina. We got back to meet our friends back at the cottage where we made vegetarian and meat pizzas with salad, we fed the ducks and played some board games. After we had said goodbye to our friends we travelled to Blackpool and visited the Sea-life Centre, where we had an amazing time. For tea we had a very tasty homemade vegetable lasagne and chips. Before bed we coloured some pictures and settled down for a bedtime story. In bed by 7.15pm.
Thursday 30th March 2023
We had a good sleep last night and woke up at 7.00am. We had breakfast and got organised for the day, before heading out to visit Stanley Park it started off a little wet but very soon the sun came out to play. We visited the swans and ducks around the lake, played on the park and played ball games and fly our kite. It was such a nice sunny day that we took our kite to fly on Thornton on Cleverley's beautiful beach before returning to the cottage after a very fun filled day. It wasn't long before it was time to go to bed and all asleep by 7.00pm.

Friday 31st March 2023
Our last day on our holiday. We packed our things after breakfast before loading up the bus and setting off. We stopped off to enjoy a visit at Towneley Park and Towneley Garden Centre. We have had so much fun this holiday but it was time to return to school and share our adventures with our friends and family.
