Brickhouse Residential 2025
Monday 31st March 2025
We have had a very busy first day. We spend the day in Fleetwood walking along the front, playing on the park. We then went to get our weekly shopping before checking into our cottage. We chilled for a while before tea time which was chicken with tomato pasta followed by yoghurt or custard creams. We fed the ducks before we had our showers and chilled again snuggling up before bedtime. A great first day had by all.
Tuesday 1st April 2025
We woke up this morning to lovely sunshine, so after breakfast and we were all dressed and applied with sun cream, we headed out for the day and arrived at Wyre Estuary Park. We had a great walk enjoying the sunshine and looking at for the animals. We stayed on the park for a while on the walk back before settling down for our picnic lunch, everyone ate and drank well. After lunch we headed over to Lytham St. Anne's and enjoyed another walk along the front stopping to have a snack and watching the RNLI lifeboats go out on a practice run. We then arrived back at the cottage before jumping into the hot tub to relax. Tea was then chicken nuggets, chips and baked beans followed by Jelly which went down a treat , must have been all the fresh air and sunshine. Before we knew it, it was time for bed. Another great day which everyone has enjoyed and been full of laughter.
Wednesday 2nd April 2025
Well we have been very lucky again today with the weather. This morning we went for a quick sensory walk within the Lakeside grounds before coming back and baking and decorating our cupcakes. We then made our own pizzas ready to be cooked for when our friends joined us for dinner. We enjoyed an alfresco dinner on the balcony area, before saying goodbye to our friends. We then headed off out to Blackpool where we enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the front, stopped and had an ice-cream. We visited an arcade where we each won a cuddly toy to bring home. We then return back to the cottage and chilled watching our favourite programs before tea which was Sausage, Mash and Peas, followed by chocolate mousse or a cupcake. Another great day.
Thursday 3rd April 2025
We had an early start this morning setting off out at 9.00am. We headed off to Thornton Cleveley's where we had a walk along the front, stopped for a snack on route. We tried to fly our kite but the wind was not strong enough to keep the kite in the air, we did build some sand castles before knocking then down. Next we headed off the YMCA Ten Pin Bowling where we had a whale of a time. We ate our picnic lunch before heading off to Stanley Park and chilled with a drink before heading on to the park where we had so much fun. We still hadn't finished having fun for the day as we had to have another dip in the hot tub after tea which was homemade Lasagne and then we were ready for bedtime routines. Phew what a busy day but a super fun day,
Friday 4th April 2025
We had a leisurely morning making sure we were all packed and eaten our breakfast before setting off for Towneley Park, we had fun on the park and a lovely long nature walk. Sat and had a well deserved snack at the cafe, before having another walkaround Towneley. After having our lunch we headed back to school. What lovely fun packed week we have had.
