Friday 22nd May, 2026

We had a good nights sleep and everyone was very sad to pack their suitcases and leave Wingates but were excited to go back home.  After breakfast we all played out and took our traditional group photo before getting on the buses.  We had a lovely lunch at Banny's and came back to school to share all our exiting stories from the week away.

Thursday 21st May, 2026

Another leisurely morning before we set off for The Blue Planet Aquarium.  Everyone enjoyed how relaxing it was watching all the fish.  We had our picnic lunch outside and briefly played on the play area but the weather wasn't great so we headed back to Wingates and sunshine.  When we got back we got ready for our gym session.  The gym was great and everyone tried lots of different equipment and games.  After the gym we played outside again before tea.  For tea we had burger, chips, onion rings and salad followed by Ice Cream Sundae.  It was a lovely final meal and then as the evening was still warm outside we played a lot more before showers, film and bed!

Wednesday 20th May, 2026

We were all amazed this morning when the first child woke up 7am with most of the others at nearly 8am.  We obviously did a good job yesterday tiring everyone out!! 

Today after breakfast we headed off to Trentham Gardens.  We played on the playground and ventured round the maze.  The weather was a bit mixed so we decided to leave early after lunch and made a surprise visit to Ten Pin bowling in Crewe.  Everyone was very excited by the surprise and enjoyed bowling. 

When we got back the sun was shining so we played out on the front lawn and then made pizzas outside and they were cooked in the Pizza Oven.  

After a further play and enjoying the lovely weather it was time for showers, a film and then bed.

Tuesday 19th May, 2026

Everyone had a good nights sleep and woke up ready for another good day.  We had a wonderful breakfast with a choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast, pancakes, hash brown, sausage, eggs and beans.  After that we set off for Chester Zoo.  The weather was OK and we managed to dodge the showers.  When we got back we played in the Rieber Hall before tea.  Tea was curry and rice with naan bread followed by Eton Mess or fruit.   After tea we managed to play out before having showers, watching the rest of a film, brushing our teeth and settling down to sleep.  Everyone had a good day and were very tired. 

Monday 18th May, 2026

We had a bit of a  long journey down the M6 with lots of traffic.  Everyone was really good and didn't complain about the slow journey.  We arrived at Wingates and had our lunch which we all enjoyed.  After lunch we played out for a short time before going to Snugbury's for a well - deserved ice cream.  After a further play we had tea of sausage, mash and peas followed by chocolate gateaux and cream. After tea we played out but when the rain started we came in to have showers before watching a film.  Everyone was very tired and happy to go to bed.
